The Point Cabrillo Light Station
East and West Cottages

There are two rental cottages at the Point Cabrillo Light Station State Historic Park. These cottages are located behind the Head Lightkeepers House (the middle house) and the Second Assistant Lightkeepers House (the West House). The entrance to both cottages is through the West facing door. The East facing door and the center two doors while historically accurate, no longer function as doors.

The cottage were originally used as storage and work shop space by the earlier lightkeepers. These building exteriors were historically restored in 2006 with the building interiors adapted to their new use as handicap accessible vacation rental cottages. These cottages can be rented either individually or as additional bedrooms in combination with rental of the Head Lightkeepers House. The West Cottage is a pet friendly rental.

Inside the cottage looking from the entry into the spacious bedroom with fully handicap bathroom beyond. Each cottage is equipped with a phone, radio, microwave oven, automatic coffee maker, and small refrigerator. While cable or broadcast television reception in not available, there is a TV with a DVD player for your movie enjoyment.
